Saturday May 8th: The Championships.

What a wonderful day for soccer! Meeting at the new(ish) Cumberland County Carl T. Duer Soccer Complex were Overton County Wildcats and Cumberland County United for the consolation game. During the regular season these two teams split the head-to-head match up with each winning on their own field. On this day though, none of that mattered. Here are some images:

That game was played at 3:00 PM, immediately following was the UCSC featuring this years number 1 and 2 seeds the Algood Middle School Redskins and the very Trace Middle School Raiders. During their regular seasons Algood won both match ups in a very close fashion. Once again though, none of that mattered once the first whistle blew:











Final score was Redskins 4-1 Raiders
